The State-Local Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee meets annually to review applications for funding from the State-Local Accommodations Tax funds, which are generated through hotel and lodging stays within the city. The committee evaluates all applications for funding with a focus on promoting tourism and attracting overnight visitors to the city. Based on their review, the committee submits funding allocation recommendations to City Council for final approval.
