The City of Hartsville invites the community to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary during the Kick Off to the Summer of Freedom Celebration on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Byerly Park.

From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, families and friends are encouraged to come together for an evening filled with live music, patriotic spirit, and community fun. Guests can enjoy a performance by Blackwater Band, explore local food and drink vendors, and experience fun surprises planned throughout the night.

The celebration will conclude with a fireworks show beginning at 9:00 PM, lighting up the sky as Hartsville celebrates freedom, community, and the spirit of summer.

This family-friendly event is part of the nationwide celebration honoring 250 years of America’s history and invites residents and visitors alike to make lasting memories together in Hartsville.
