๐Ÿ—‘ Trash Collection

Q: What time should I place my cart at the curb?
A: Please place your roll cart at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Return carts to their storage location by the evening of the same day.

Q: What items can go into the regular trash cart?
A: Bagged household waste, non-recyclable packaging, and small non-hazardous items may be disposed of. Avoid placing liquids, construction materials, electronics, or hazardous waste in your trash cart.

Q: Can I get an extra trash cart?
A: Yes! Additional carts are available for a small monthly fee. Contact our office to request delivery.

Q: What materials are accepted in my recycling cart?
A: We accept:

  • Paper (newspapers, magazines, office paper)

  • Cardboard (flattened)

  • Plastics #1โ€“#7 (bottles and containers)

  • Aluminum and steel cans

Q: What items are not recyclable?
A: Do not include:

  • Plastic bags or wrap

  • Glass bottles or jars

  • Styrofoam

  • Food-contaminated containers

  • Electronics or batteries

Q: What happens if I put trash in the recycling cart?
A: If non-recyclable materials are found, your recycling cart may not be serviced. Youโ€™ll be asked to remove contamination before your next pickup.

Q: What qualifies as a bulk item?
A: Common bulk items include:

  • Furniture (mattresses, sofas, chairs)

  • Large household items (tables, dressers)

  • Appliances (by special request)

Q: How do I schedule a bulk pickup?
A: Call our office at least 48 hours in advance to schedule. Some items may incur a disposal fee.

Q: Are there restrictions?
A: Yes. Items must be placed at the curb. No hazardous materials, tires, or contractor-generated waste.


๐ŸŒฟ Yard Debris Pickup

Q: What yard waste will you collect?
A: We collect:

  • Bagged leaves, grass clippings, pine straw

  • Small limbs (less than 3 inches diameter, 6 feet long)

  • Shrub trimmings (neatly stacked curbside)

Q: How often is yard debris picked up?
A: Yard debris in roll carts or bags is picked up weekly. Bulk limbs are collected bi-weekly or by scheduled pickup depending on your area.

Q: Can I get a yard waste roll cart?
A: Yes. Yard waste carts are available upon request and help reduce loose debris in storm drains.

Q: What yard debris is not accepted?
A: We do not collect:

  • Dirt, rocks, concrete, or stumps

  • Contractor-generated landscaping waste

  • Excessive bulk piles (over 5 cubic yards without appointment)

A: Contact our office within 24 hours. Weโ€™ll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
