NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Hartsville is required by the US National Parks Service (NPS) to receive public comments on the Re-evaluation of Review Findings for the Land Conversion Environmental Assessment (December 30, 2016), in compliance with all relevant regulations for the conversion of the Lee Street Ballfields and North Hartsville Athletic Fields from public recreation to other uses. The Re-evaluation of Environmental Assessment addresses the change of use of a proposed replacement property.

The Re-evaluation of Review Findings and previous Environmental Assessment is available for review at Hartsville City Hall, located at 100 East Carolina Avenue between 8:30 – 5:00 weekdays.  Additionally, the Re-evaluation of Review Findings may be viewed on the City of Hartsville website at www.hartsvillesc.gov/news/EARe-evaluation. This notice is hereby published on Thursday, October 22, 2020, in the designated public notice board at City Hall, as well as on the City of Hartsville website and will be published in the Hartsville Messenger.  All public comments must be received by Saturday, November 21, 2020.   All comments will be carefully reviewed and any changes made as necessary and appropriate.
