2018 Screen on the Green season ends with Guardians of the Galaxy sponsored by Hartsville Police Department and fire department (National Night Out)

WHERE: Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way, Hartsville, SC
WHEN: Saturday, August 11, dusk (9:01 p.m. or later)

Hartsville, SC – Screen on the Green, the City of Hartsville’s free series of summertime movies, will conclude with Guardians of the Galaxy sponsored by Hartsville Police Department and fire department, on Sat., Aug. 11. The screening will take place in Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way.

Guardians of the Galaxy is about cosmic outlaws face an interstellar villain who seeks to control the universe with a powerful orb. Together, Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Gamora and Drax the Destroyer may be the galaxy’s only hope for thwarting Ronan’s sinister plan. This movie is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for some language.

The showing begins at dusk, 9:01 p.m. or later. Viewers are welcome to bring chairs and blankets if desired. In the event of rain, the showing will relocate to the Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center at Byerly Park, located at 701 W Washington St in Hartsville.

Guardians of the Galaxy concludes the Screen on the Green series. Screen on the Green will continue next year. Thank you to all our sponsors and community members who made these events possible.
