The Hartsville Museum Opens New Exhibit: I’m Not Every Woman, I’m a Phenomenal Woman

The Hartsville Museum is hosting an African American Fiber Art exhibit during the month of January at The Edition, 221 North Fifth Street. This exhibit is titled I’m NOT Every Woman, I’m a PHENOMENAL Woman. The traveling exhibit is a part of the Traveling Exhibits Program with the South Carolina State Museum and comes to Hartsville from the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department as their twelfth installment in a series of works of fiber arts. It features 20 pieces of exceptional quality work, hand crafted by African American fiber artists from throughout the nation. These pieces will be on display at The Edition until January 31^st. The exhibit is open to the public Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. by appointment only.
