Residents will see crews performing routine testing of fire hydrants in the City of Hartsville over the next several weeks. Residents may see some discoloration in their water temporarily during this time, although the water remains safe.

Hartsville Fire Department to make Christmas bright for many local families through Boots and Buckets fundraiser

Hartsville shoppers will again get a chance to help local families in need have a better Christmas as the Hartsville Fire Department hosts its annual Boots and Buckets fundraiser beginning on Friday, Nov. 28 at collection sites on Hartsville Crossing. This annual donation effort, which provides Christmas gifts for those families who face difficulty providing gifts for their children, impacted 125 local children in 70 families during the 2013 Christmas season.
