Lucinda y las Flores de la Nochebuena, A Children’s Holiday Opera

The students of Coker College’s Opera Workshop program are excited to present “Lucinda y las Flores de la Nochebuena,” a one-act children’s holiday opera written in 2015 by composer Evan Mack and librettist Joshua McGuire. This 45-minute bilingual opera is perfect for the entire family, centered on the Mexican legend of the poinsettia and its significance to the holiday season. Black Creek Arts Council is pleased to bring you the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees, a showcase of decorated holiday trees and wreaths displayed throughout a winter wonderland.
