The Planning Commission is responsible for a continuing planning program for the physical, social, and economic growth, development, and redevelopment of the city. They meet the last Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers. Due to the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 29, 2023 the Planning Commission approved moving the meeting to Monday, May 22, 2023.
The Housing Authority of Hartsville is a policy-making commission which facilitates public and/or Section 8 housing to benefit low-income individuals and families in the Hartsville area. The meetings are held at South Park Apartments, 1301 South Fifth Street. Find the agenda here.
