Food & Beverage Manager, Neptune Island

Plans, coordinates, directs and supervises the operations, personnel, programs and activities associated with the Food and Beverage operations for Neptune Island Water Park (a City of Hartsville Facility).

Req: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and five (5) years of developing, promoting and implementing successful food and beverage business practices and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Supervisory experience required. Must have a valid SC state driver’s license. Must be able to complete ServSafe requirements and any licensures associated with food and beverage.

Chief Building Official, Business Navigator

Manages, organizes, plans and coordinates code enforcement compliance, including, but not limited to plan reviews, building inspections, enforcement, permit processing and administrative functions and ordinance administration.

Req: Certified Building Official; associate degree in building technology, construction management, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building construction, architectural science or closely related field preferred; and five (5) years of experience in building construction, code enforcement and inspections; and/or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid SC Driver’s License.

Crew Supervisor, Streets & Grounds

Supervises and performs activities in the maintenance and preparation of most City-owned parks, rights of way, entryways, garden areas, streets, and sidewalks. Performs semi-routine to diversified duties as established by practices and procedures.

Req: High School diploma or GED is required; an associate’s degree in related field is preferred; and, three (3) years of experience in streets and grounds maintenance at the supervisory level and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Ability to possess a valid South Carolina commercial driver’s license within six (6) months of employment.

Maintenance Worker, Solid Waste

Operates equipment used in the collection of solid waste and performs routine maintenance and inspections of equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance work associated with collections.

Volunteer Firefighter – HFD

Perform firefighting/rescue duties.

Min. Req: 18 yrs old, valid SC driver’s license, high school graduate or equivalent, reside within a 20 min. response time and remain on 24 hr emergency call status. Attend 2 three-hour evening training meetings a month, must attend 75% of the meetings and 50% of all full alarm responses per year. Prior fire service exp. and knowledge of city layout preferred.
