DUI Enforcement Police Officer

Performs patrol, investigation, and other law enforcement related activities with a direct focus on Impaired Driver Enforcement, during shifts based on the highest frequency of DUI-related traffic violations and/or crashes.

Req: 21 yrs old; valid SC driver’s license; HS Diploma or equivalent; 1 yr of exp. in law enforcement; completion of the SC Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy and Field Training; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Training preferred: Standard Field Sobriety (SFST Cert.), DMT (Datamaster Cert.) Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE Cert.), Drug Recognition Expert, DUI Trial preparation, RADAR/LIDAR certification.

Equipment Operator, Solid Waste

Environmental Services: Operates a variety of City equipment and vehicles used in the collection of solid waste, yard debris, and recycling; performs routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.

Req: HS graduate or equivalent and 3 years of related experience and/or any equivalent combination. Must have a valid SC state driver’s license with CDL clearance.

Water Park Manager

Plans, coordinates, directs and supervises the operations, personnel, programs and activities of the City’s Water Park Facility. Accountable for the administration, operation and direct management necessary to achieve stated objectives in guest/associate safety, sanitation/cleanliness, equipment safety/repairs, sales/profitability, costs, employee retention and guest service satisfaction. Project Management: Construction & Opening of the City’s Water Park Facility.

Req: Bachelor’s degree in recreation, physical education, or closely related field preferred; and/or 5 years of developing, promoting and implementing successful aquatic programing and pool management or similar attractions/water park experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. Must have a valid SC state driver’s license. CPO [Certified Pool Operator] and/or AFO [Aquatics Facility Operator] Certifications are required. Must possess CPR & First Aid Certifications, Lifeguard Certification. Lifeguard Instructor and/or Water Safety Instructor Certification preferred.

School Crossing Guard

Responsible for the safety of students crossing the street en route to and from school and traffic control at school crossings – 2 hours per day, 5 days a week, when school is in session.
