The City of Hartsville Administrative Offices will be closed from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 to allow our employees to enjoy a Christmas Lunch together.
We will reopen promptly at 2:30 PM.
The Hartsville Christmas Parade will take place in Downtown Hartsville on December 9, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Hartsville Parks Committee scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 5:00 PM has been cancelled.
The City of Hartsville’s Burry Park will be taken over by mummies, bats, princesses, pirates, ghosts, and superheroes walking through the park to find treats on October 23rd from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Businesses and organizations are invited to set up a table to offer treats to the kids that will be in Burry Park for the event at no charge and should sign up at www.mainstreethartsville.org. On Saturday, March 27th, the City of Hartsville will host the Community Easter Eggstravaganza in four city parks. This will be a self-guided, at your own pace Egg Hunt that will kick off from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Pride Park, Lawton Park, Burry Park, and Byerly Park.

The Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center will reopen its doors for limited exercise classes beginning Monday, June 15th, 2020. Staff and instructors will be taking precautions to ensure that social distancing guidelines are followed and that facilities remain sanitized. The center is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The City of Hartsville announces the next phase of reopening facilities. This phase includes the reopening of recreational facilities by the Parks and Recreation Department. The department will reopen their facilities in phases throughout the next month in accordance with industry guidelines.
