Hartsville, SC –  The City of Hartsville advises the residents of the Sunset Drive, Clarkston Drive, Moore Street, Kellytown Road (from West Carolina Avenue to East Bobo Newsom Highway), and West Carolina Avenue (From Kellytown Road to Edgeland Drive), located in Darlington County, that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.

Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by an independent laboratory. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.

If you should have any questions concerning this repeal of the Boil Advisory, you may call the City of Hartsville Public Services Department at 843-383-3006.
