The Hartsville Museum presents the Second Annual Darkside Tour of Hartsville this October. There will be two tours, one starting at 7:00 p.m. and one at 8:00 p.m. in the evenings on October 25th-26th and October 29th-31st. This spooky walking tour will take participants to different locations around Downtown and provide details on some of Hartsville’s lost locations and history. Each tour begins at the John L. Hart House located in front of First Baptist Church on Home Avenue and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Tickets for the event are $20 and can be purchased at www.hartsvillemuseum.org/darkside-tour.

Andrea Steen, Museum Manager, says, “We are anxiously awaiting the beginning of this second annual event at the Hartsville Museum. Last year we spooked 144 guests as they learned some of Hartsville’s darkest secrets on this historical walking tour and we expect to have just as many this year.” Tickets for the Darkside Tour of Hartsville are selling quickly. Proceeds from this tour will help The Hartsville Museum further their mission of providing quality exhibits that reflect on the history of this wonderful city.
