Hartsville Police Department Flag Dedication Ceremony

 

The Hartsville Police Department’s Investigation Division hosted a flag and flagpole dedication ceremony on June 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. City staff and special guests attended the ceremony which was followed by an open house and tour of the newly renovated Investigation Division located at 626 North Fifth Street, Hartsville. The flag and flagpole were generously donated by Woodmen Life.

Holiday Sober or Slammer! Campaign

The Hartsville Police Department (HPD), South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS), and law enforcement partners statewide will conduct stringent enforcement of impaired driving laws as part of its Sober or Slammer! campaign beginning December 13, 2019 through January 1, 2020. Hartsville Safe Communities Hosts Ice Cream with a Cop

Hartsville Safe Communities, a division of the Hartsville Police Department, will be hosting Ice Cream with a Cop at South Park Apartments, 1301 S. Fifth Street, on July 25, 2019 from 5-6:30 p.m. Members of the community are invited and welcomed to attend this family-friendly event. Operation Southern Shield 2019

The Hartsville Police Department will be participating in Operation Southern Shield beginning today, July 15th. The operation will run through July 20th and focus on the heavier summertime travel period when the fatality and injury crash rates increase significantly in the southeast.  Enforcement will consist of RADAR/LIDAR use and the use of public safety checkpoints.
